Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to customers on designated routes
- Load/unload packages efficiently while adhering to weight and safety protocols
- Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries and package interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any route discrepancies
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes for time efficiency and fuel conservation
- Adhere to all Amazon safety policies and local traffic regulations
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or B with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Reliable transportation to/from depot locations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
