Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential and business addresses in Chicago
- Maintain accurate delivery records using Amazon's mobile technology
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle safety standards
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery status
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and timeliness
- Collaborate with logistics team to resolve delivery exceptions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or B
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Excellent driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery technology
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
