Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided delivery van to transport packages to customer doorsteps in Plano and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle daily, report any mechanical issues, and perform routine safety checks.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they are delivered in pristine condition.
- Interact professionally with customers, including taking photos of delivered items and obtaining digital signatures when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the back of the van and the loading dock.
- Comply with all Amazon DSP safety policies and local traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and load packages into the delivery van.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required by business needs.
- Basic English language proficiency for reading maps and communicating with customers.
