Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and transport packages to customers within designated routes
- Utilize Amazon's proprietary technology for route optimization and real-time tracking
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and Amazon's high service standards
- Collaborate with logistics team to resolve delivery exceptions
- Complete daily vehicle cleaning and organization tasks
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A or B) or willingness to obtain one
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience (commercial or non-commercial)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for Amazon's delivery app
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
