Responsibilities
- Safe and Efficient Delivery: Load, unload, and deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers politely and handling package exceptions with care and efficiency.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and road-ready.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all required delivery paperwork, including proof of delivery and mileage logs.
- Route Adherence: Follow planned delivery routes and schedules to ensure packages are delivered according to the promise window.
- Asset Protection: Secure packages during transit and adhere to all safety protocols to prevent damage or loss.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams to resolve issues and optimize delivery performance.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Must possess a valid US Driver's License (Class B or CDL is preferred, but training is available for qualified applicants).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- No Experience Required: Previous professional driving experience is not mandatory; we value attitude and work ethic over history.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 49 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Residency: Must reside within or near the Phoenix, AZ area.
