Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently onto delivery vehicles.
- Safely operate delivery vehicles on assigned routes to designated addresses.
- Ensure timely delivery of packages while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Inspect the vehicle for any issues before and after each shift.
- Handle package handling with care to prevent damage or loss.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers when necessary.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver’s License (Class C) and a clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts.
- Basic English communication skills for reading addresses and interacting with customers.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions and varying schedules.
- Adequate vision to read maps, GPS, and delivery documents.
