Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to ensure timely departures.
- Follow delivery routes and schedules to ensure packages are delivered accurately and on time.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling package inquiries with a positive attitude.
- Inspect delivery vehicles daily to ensure they are clean and in good working condition.
- Utilize handheld devices to update delivery status and manage paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the delivery vehicle and workspace.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major moving violations).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shifts without assistance.
- Strong sense of responsibility, time management, and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for operating handheld delivery devices.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and diverse environments.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
