Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle along designated routes to ensure timely and accurate package delivery.
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle, adhering to safety protocols and weight limits.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to resolve delivery issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain vehicle condition and safety.
- Sort packages according to delivery zones to optimize route efficiency.
- Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays as needed.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic English language proficiency for clear communication with customers and dispatch.
- Reliable access to transportation for work-related travel if required.
