Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to customer doorsteps.
- Deliver packages in a professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to delivery protocols.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.
- Handle package handling with extreme care to ensure items arrive in perfect condition.
- Utilize handheld devices for scanning packages and managing delivery routes efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
