Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to customer doorsteps in a timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle, adhering to safety protocols for lifting heavy items.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling returns and providing exceptional service.
- Navigate efficiently using provided GPS systems to complete routes on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies strictly.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License required (Class B preferred but not always mandatory depending on van size).
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Must have access to a reliable smartphone for navigation and communication.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
