Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport packages to designated residential and commercial addresses.
- Load and unload parcels efficiently, ensuring all items are accounted for and securely fastened during transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Manage delivery paperwork and route information accurately using handheld devices.
- Maintain a professional appearance and follow strict uniform guidelines.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic English proficiency for reading directions, maps, and communicating with customers.
- Pass a background check and drug screen as required by company policy.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the work site.
