Responsibilities
- Deliver Packages: Safely transport packages to customers' doorsteps in a timely manner.
- Customer Service: Provide a professional and friendly face-to-face interaction with customers.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and maintained in good working order.
- Record Keeping: Accurately complete daily logs, delivery paperwork, and mileage reports.
- Navigation: Utilize handheld devices to plan the most efficient routes and navigate to stops.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Vehicle: Own or have reliable access to a suitable vehicle (or utilize company vehicle).
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently for safety and customer interaction.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Schedule: Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
