Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial customers adhering to time commitments.
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles, ensuring the safe handling of merchandise and proper loading techniques.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, delivery safety guidelines, and company policies at all times.
- Inspect vehicle condition before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance needs or damages immediately.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle package exceptions (missed deliveries, damaged goods) professionally.
- Unload and organize packages at delivery points and return undeliverable items to the hub.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or Class B with CDL) required; Class B with CDL preferred.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
