Responsibilities
- Load & Secure: Safely load packages onto your vehicle and ensure they are properly secured for the journey.
- Delivery Execution: Drive efficiently along your assigned route, ensuring all packages are delivered accurately and on time.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, handle package exceptions, and resolve issues with a positive attitude.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is in top condition.
- Technology Use: Utilize handheld scanning devices to manage inventory and track delivery status.
- Unloading: Carefully unload packages and place them in the correct location at the customer's doorstep.
Qualifications
- License Requirements: Valid Driver's License (Class B) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Language: Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required.
- Vehicle Access: Reliable transportation for personal use (or ability to operate a company vehicle).
- Weather Tolerance: Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including rain, heat, and snow.
- Equipment: Ability to use handheld scanners and navigation apps on a smartphone.
