Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and scan packages using handheld devices
- Provide exceptional customer service during package interactions
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes to meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Communicate delivery status updates and issues to dispatch team
- Uphold Amazon's safety standards and compliance policies
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking and communication
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Reliable personal vehicle or access to transportation to depot
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with Houston area
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- 18+ years of age with authorization to work in the US
