Responsibilities
- Safe and Efficient Delivery: Navigate routes using handheld devices to deliver packages to customers in a timely and safe manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly and professional service to every customer, handling packages with care and ensuring secure delivery.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Package Handling: Load and unload packages from the delivery van, ensuring proper organization and security.
- Time Management: Optimize delivery schedules to meet daily efficiency goals while maintaining a high standard of service.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A current, valid US driver's license and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Vehicle Ownership: You must have or be able to obtain a suitable delivery vehicle (vans) and commercial auto insurance.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to use handheld technology (tablet).
