Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers in the Reno area using company-provided vehicles
- Load and unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions
- Communicate delivery status and issues with dispatch team in real-time
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon safety protocols while on duty
- Organize packages in delivery vehicle for optimal route efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with at least 1 year of driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
