Responsibilities
- Operate company-owned delivery vehicles to transport packages safely and efficiently throughout designated Anaheim routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records using Amazon's proprietary scanning technology and mobile applications
- Provide exceptional customer service during package deliveries, including proper handling and communication
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere strictly to Amazon's delivery protocols, safety standards, and traffic regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and resolve delivery exceptions
- Ensure packages are protected from weather damage and delivered to correct addresses
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent commercial vehicle operation
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and basic technology for delivery tracking
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Pass background check and drug screening as per Amazon's policy
