Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans or box trucks) following Amazon's strict safety protocols
- Efficiently manage package delivery routes using Amazon's proprietary technology
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any route discrepancies or vehicle issues
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon's delivery standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with San Jose area
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using delivery apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
