Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential and business addresses within designated Chula Vista routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using provided technology to maximize time efficiency
- Provide outstanding customer service during package interactions and address delivery concerns
- Adhere to all safety protocols and Amazon's delivery standards at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year experience)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull up to 70 lbs
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong time management and organizational skills for independent route execution
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps
- Reliable personal vehicle (passenger car or van) with valid insurance
- Excellent customer service communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
