Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses using Amazon-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and scan packages using Amazon's handheld scanning technology
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure secure delivery operations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Communicate delivery status and delays through Amazon's mobile app
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (minimum 1 year experience)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using delivery apps
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening (Amazon policy)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
