Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans to transport packages to residential and commercial customers
- Optimize delivery routes using Amazon's proprietary navigation technology
- Load/unload packages efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory counts
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Utilize Amazon's handheld scanner for real-time delivery tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Arlington area geography and traffic patterns
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and delivery scanning technology
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
