Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Utilize Amazon's proprietary technology to optimize routes, track deliveries, and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service during package handoffs, resolving delivery issues promptly
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform daily safety inspections, and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Amazon's delivery standards
- Collaborate with logistics team to ensure on-time delivery performance and route efficiency
- Assist in loading/unloading packages with proper lifting techniques to prevent damage
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A or B) or valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience in commercial or delivery setting
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly with proper techniques
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and mobile delivery technology
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by Amazon DSP standards
