Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in strict accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary delivery paperwork.
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and bars to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, cleanliness, and professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A issued by the state.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience (OTR or Regional).
- Current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations or DUIs in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and sitting for extended periods of time.
