Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to customers within designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation while adhering to Amazon's service standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and address inquiries professionally
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency while meeting time-sensitive delivery windows
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and exceptions
- Uphold Amazon's safety protocols and compliance requirements at all times
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or B with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong time management and organizational skills for route optimization
- Excellent customer service communication and problem-solving abilities
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery app navigation and documentation
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by Amazon standards
