Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential and commercial addresses using company-provided vehicles
- Load, scan, and organize packages according to delivery routes and priority schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery records through scanning technology and digital manifests
- Provide exceptional customer service during package interactions and address delivery concerns
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Amazon safety protocols, and local delivery regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route changes or delivery issues
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull heavy carts
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and package scanning applications
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by Amazon DSP standards
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand/walk for extended periods
