Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Sacramento's neighborhoods efficiently
- Load/unload packages with proper scanning and documentation
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct pre/post-trip inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to Amazon's safety protocols and delivery time commitments
- Use handheld scanning devices for package tracking and proof of delivery
- Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Sacramento area
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for app-based operations
- High school diploma or equivalent
