Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and Amazon safety protocols
- Load, unload, and sort packages using efficient scanning techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during package deliveries and returns
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Adhere to Amazon's delivery standards and performance metrics
- Ensure secure handling of packages and customer belongings
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class B) or valid driver's license with 2+ years experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Indianapolis area
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery scanning apps
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
