Responsibilities
- Lead novel research initiatives in generative AI, neural architecture search, and multimodal learning systems
- Develop scalable ML models with 99.9%+ accuracy for real-world deployment in healthcare and climate science
- Author high-impact publications for top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates through our 2026 AI Fellowship Program
- Collaborate with product teams to translate theoretical breakthroughs into commercial applications
- Ensure ethical alignment of AI systems with UN Sustainable Development Goals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on research in deep learning, reinforcement learning, or NLP
- Published record at top-tier AI conferences (minimum 3 NeurIPS/ICML papers)
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow with production-level MLOps implementation
- Strong background in computational theory and algorithm optimization
- Proven ability to secure competitive research grants (NSF, NIH, or equivalent)
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Ray, Horovod, Spark)
