Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across AI models using advanced statistical methods
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into MLOps pipelines
- Advise executive leadership on emerging regulatory compliance requirements for AI deployment
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams with ethical principles
- Author comprehensive ethics impact assessments for high-stakes AI applications
- Represent the company at international AI ethics policy forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI governance, responsible AI, or technology ethics roles
- Expertise in fairness metrics, bias mitigation techniques, and explainable AI (XAI)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks, etc.)
- Strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning fundamentals
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders
