Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI products
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and mitigation strategies for machine learning models
- Develop compliance protocols for emerging regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Lead stakeholder workshops on responsible AI deployment with technical and non-technical audiences
- Establish monitoring systems for model fairness and transparency post-deployment
- Author ethics-by-design guidelines for product development teams
- Represent company at industry forums on AI governance best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years experience in AI ethics, ML fairness, or governance roles
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, state-level regulations)
- Proficiency in bias detection tools (Aequitas, IBM Fairness 360)
- Experience developing ethics documentation and audit trails
- Strong communication skills translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Published work or certifications in responsible AI (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
