Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks for enterprise-scale deployments
- Conduct risk assessments for AI systems using emerging regulatory standards (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Lead cross-functional working groups on bias mitigation and algorithmic transparency
- Advocate for ethical AI design in product development lifecycles
- Establish audit protocols for third-party AI vendor compliance
- Represent the organization in industry coalitions on responsible AI policy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Policy, or related field with 8+ years' experience
- Proven expertise in AI governance frameworks (ISO/IEC 42001, IEEE 7000)
- Deep understanding of emerging AI regulations and global compliance landscapes
- Experience leading ethics initiatives in Fortune 500 tech environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IBM AI Ethics, Google Responsible AI)
- Published work or thought leadership in AI ethics journals/conferences
