Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with emerging market trends and regulatory shifts
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects in quantum computing, AI governance, and carbon-neutral tech
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future-proof strategies into organizational goals
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and patent opportunities
- Present strategic briefings to stakeholders including investors and industry consortia
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical tech development and future-proof architecture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record in translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Expertise in at least one of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable infrastructure
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major industry conferences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Experience with global regulatory frameworks (GDPR, FCC, IEEE standards)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
