Responsibilities
- Map and analyze emerging technology trajectories (quantum, AI, biotech, spatial computing) through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop patent-pending technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping sessions with engineering and design teams
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's societal impact and commercialization
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation accelerators
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen technology deployment and governance
- Mentor internal talent in future-thinking methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with demonstrated impact on product roadmaps
- Published thought leadership in exponential technologies (IEEE, Nature, TechCrunch)
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools and futures research methodologies
- Track record of launching at least two industry-disrupting tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/spatial)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to executive audiences
