- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market demands
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and design teams
- Advise C-suite on emerging tech investments and competitive positioning
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote industry conferences
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Quantify market potential of emerging technologies through data-driven modeling
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, biotech, or AI ethics
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published author or industry speaker on future technologies
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
