Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year tech roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuromorphic chips, decentralized systems)
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for 2026 tech initiatives
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations targeting 2026 commercialization
- Present future-tech insights to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen autonomous systems and human-machine interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology with 7+ years tech strategy experience
- Published research in AI ethics, quantum computing, or sustainable tech (2020-2023)
- Proven track record of scaling tech startups from concept to IPO
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, EU AI Act)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026-focused technology prototypes or white papers
