Responsibilities
- Develop predictive technology roadmaps for 2026+ innovations across AI, biotech, and renewable energy sectors
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption cycles
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on future-proof infrastructure strategies
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technology readiness and adoption maturity
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech initiatives into corporate strategy
- Publish thought leadership on emerging technology impacts and ethical implications
- Manage vendor partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management with proven future-planning experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong background in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams in agile environments
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation management preferred
