Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026 technology vision aligned with global market trends and emerging paradigms
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in AI ethics, neural interfaces, and sustainable tech
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members, translating complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-economic factors influencing tech adoption and policy development
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum-resistant cryptography and decentralized autonomous systems
- Mentor talent in emerging disciplines while fostering a culture of ethical innovation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact in Fortune 500 or hyper-growth environments
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI governance, or climate-tech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers on future-tech ethics
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding from government grants and private investors
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and predictive modeling for technological convergence
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or Futurology preferred
- Certification in AI ethics or emerging tech governance frameworks (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful deployment of technologies with 10+ year societal impact
