Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable tech
- Develop 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Present insights to executive leadership and board members through compelling narratives
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging technologies into roadmaps
- Author white papers and thought leadership on future technology paradigms
- Mentor cross-functional teams on technological foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven experience in emerging technology assessment and roadmap development
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Deep knowledge of at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, neuromorphic computing)
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Strong presentation and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry forums
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology management preferred
