This role combines strategic foresight with hands-on implementation to position our company at the forefront of the digital revolution. You'll collaborate with C-suite executives, lead cross-functional R&D initiatives, and translate future trends into actionable business strategies.

Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies in AI, quantum, biotech, and climate tech
- Develop and execute 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging tech into core offerings
- Present strategic insights to investors, board members, and industry forums
- Manage a $10M+ innovation fund for experimental projects
- Build and lead a team of futurist researchers and technologists
- Author thought leadership on the future of technology
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in identifying and scaling disruptive technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
- Advanced degree in STEM field or MBA from top-tier institution
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, patents, etc.)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
