Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop and maintain a dynamic technology roadmap aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies and their industry-wide implications
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into development cycles
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications on technology evolution
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-forward tech roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their market trajectories
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business preferred
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight a plus
- Experience working with agile methodologies and rapid prototyping
