Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and venture capital teams
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership pieces for industry summits and policy forums
- Drive patent strategy for next-generation intellectual property portfolios
- Mentor emerging technologists through our Future Founders incubator program
- Partner with governments on regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful exits)
- Expertise in at least two disruptive domains: quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Published author in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE Spectrum) or equivalent impact
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology adoption lifecycle models
- Deep understanding of global regulatory landscapes for frontier technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for C-suite and stakeholder engagement
