Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological inflection points
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning quantum computing, biotech, and AI convergence
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-proof principles into product roadmaps
- Curate and host 'Future Now' symposia with industry thought leaders
- Prototype commercial applications for breakthrough technologies (e.g., neural interfaces, carbon-negative AI)
- Author influential white papers on ethical tech governance and human augmentation
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for high-potential moonshot projects
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent innovation discipline
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight or corporate innovation at Fortune 500 level
- Published thought leadership in exponential technology trends (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Deep network within DARPA, IEEE Future Directions, or Singularity University alumni
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three commercialized future-tech innovations
- Certification in Technology Horizons Scanning or equivalent foresight methodology
- Fluency in at least one technical programming language (Python/R) for data modeling
