- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for cutting-edge technology exploration
- Present technology impact assessments to C-suite executives and board members
- Design innovation incubation programs for emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory frameworks affecting future technology adoption
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future technology implications and strategic opportunities
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Deep expertise in technology lifecycle analysis and market adoption curves
- Exceptional scenario planning and systems thinking capabilities
- Published thought leadership in future technology trends (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
