Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, climate tech) and assess their commercial viability for 2026 market adoption
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with ESG goals and regulatory frameworks
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Teams' to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify acquisition targets
- Author thought leadership publications on tech ethics and future-proofing
- Manage $10M+ innovation portfolio allocation
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture innovation
- Published author on emerging tech trends (IEEE, Nature Futures)
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for AI/quantum technologies
- Proven experience scaling tech from concept to billion-dollar valuation
- Proficiency in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Track record of securing federal/state innovation grants
