Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop and implement 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster a culture of future-focused thinking
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Monitor global tech ecosystems and competitive landscapes for disruption signals
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and research labs
- Drive the integration of futuristic technologies into current product development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of predicting and capitalizing on emerging tech trends
- Expertise in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impact
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management capabilities
- Advanced degree in relevant field (Futurology, Systems Engineering, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
