- Produce quarterly horizon scanning reports on geopolitical tech regulations and market shifts
- Design innovation incubation programs for emerging technologies with $10M+ budget oversight
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present tech roadmaps to investors and board members with compelling data visualization
- Mentor junior futurists on scenario planning and risk mitigation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (patents or successful launches)
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and climate tech convergence
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in at least two major programming languages (Python/R preferred)
