Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology forecasting and scenario planning for 2026+ innovation horizons
- Direct cross-functional R&D projects in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Develop patent-pending solutions for next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with business objectives
- Present future-tech roadmaps to investors and industry stakeholders
- Mentor a team of 10+ researchers and engineers
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and venture partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) on emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching at least 2 breakthrough products
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains: quantum, AI, neurotech, or synthetic biology
- Experience with futures methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating thought leadership in technology evolution
