Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy, aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough solutions for quantum computing applications
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present innovation roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investors
- Monitor emerging tech disruptions and recommend pivots to maintain competitive advantage
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of radical innovation
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through grant proposals and venture partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with 8+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (e.g., blockchain, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or similar journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in research grants or corporate innovation funding
- Deep knowledge of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
