Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives for 2026 technology adoption patterns
- Analyze quantum computing, biotech, and AI convergence opportunities
- Develop patentable innovation frameworks for next-gen tech ecosystems
- Partner with C-suite to align R&D with 2026 market projections
- Produce quarterly trend briefs for investor and stakeholder audiences
- Manage cross-functional labs exploring 2026 human-tech interfaces
- Represent company at global tech foresight summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in tech strategy at Fortune 500 or unicorn startup
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic chips, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong network with DARPA, IEEE Future Directions, or similar bodies
